I was very impressed by Thurman tonight. Had he decided to go toe to toe with Chavez early in the fight Chavez would have knocked him out. Instead Thurman adjusted and did what was needed to secure the win. He's not going to be able to just knock everyone out all the time. I'd love to see Chavez again as well, although I am surprised the ref gave him a second 10 count because the fight was clearly over.. Now all Thurman has to do is build his resume and keep winning..

This is a great night for boxing! KO Kings is living up to the hype so far!

GBP easily wins tonight's battle of promotions. Zu Shimming in main event is a joke !!! Andy Ruiz vs Joe Hanks should have been Main Event.

If Chaves manages to land a deal and stay in USA and get some real coaching he has a good chance of getting somewhere. With his idiot brother and no resources in Argentina his chances are poor. Tough kid, showed guts and was actualy doign well for some time, but he looked nervous and didnt take advantage of the opportunities he clealry had. Thurman, looking just as nervous, was clealry in better shape, better corner, hence the results.

Id love to see him against that clown Broner. I think he literally breaks his jaw.

Sorry guys but Chaves is crap.... I live down here and Iīve seen him many times....he lost against and old dude like Omar Weiss...the fans started throwing beer cans and ****, and had to give him the W or his carreer would have been over by then... it was 3 or 4 years ago....

BRIAN CASTAŅO will be the next big thing out of argentina...the kids ****in GOOD.

Well It seemed Chavez had intended on KO'ing Thurman early and didn't really have a plan B, but then again outside of Martinez, what Argentine does have a plan b? Usually plan A is pressure and plan B is more pressure but some of the punches he caught Thurman with would have KO'ed alot of MW's let alone a WW. Thurman was just simply the better man tonight because he made adjustments and Chavez didn't had Thurman not made those adjustments quickly (began in round 2) he would have got KTFO
