just a very ****** fighter, all the Slugging Out and Heart and all that **** is good for fighters who don't have much talent and gets by purely on Heart and Determination, Berto actually HAD Talent but fought like he didn't because he chooses to use his Muscles and not his BRAINS much! Even with knowing that Al Haymon will get you the win if you get it to the Cards his dumb a$$ couldn't even do that
Berto is blessed with hand speed. I see no other overly talented parts of his game.

Hope Berto's smart with his money man
he'll get a bit more than that. texas doesn't have a state income tax. managers are only allowed 33% under the muhammad ali act. trainers are usually @ 10%. running his camp and hiring sparring is his responsibility, but it shouldn't be a crazy amount of money.
he probably has a few sponsorships (on his trunks, the glove / robe company, etc)
he'll still see some dough.
over the course of his career he's made eight figures in purses for sure. he's been in big money fights, often on hbo against bums.

Sure, it's going to be "around" 250k; maybe 300k, but even though he's set to make 1 mil, he's seeing nowhere around that.

Even then, I'm not so sure what's wrong with my assessment.
Anything over 250k, uncle sam is taking 50%. Then you have to pay your team - cut man, trainer, manager, promoter, ect...
No way was I in his pocket, just commenting on a good night of action
