i know that sounds like one of those "ask it to be a jackass" questions, but i highly doubt that you've seen wladimir's fights if you think he's going to come out doing anything other than jabbing and boxing for several rounds.

wladimir has power, but he doesn't fight aggressively at all. cooney, foreman, and frazier were punchers in demeanor as well as physically. wladimir is the most cautious HW champion ever. he's finished only the worst of the worst early. ray austin caught big punch and slumped over and all but asked to get finished. mormeck was an ancient cruiserweight, who always ******. he's waited for opponents to tire and make mistakes since the brewster stoppage. knockout in 8-10 rounds would be my pick. you're underrating norton, and i think it's the product of some sort of agenda.

and no, i won't take seriously somebody who so casually speaks about kenny norton, a hall of famer and a big part of the best era in HW history.

here's another litmus test for your biases:
is kenny norton a lesser fighter than brewster, sanders, and purrity
    ?
you wouldnt call the brewster and sanders fights aggressive fights?you can come up with whatever theory you wanna come up with as to why norton would survive.fact is he got demolished by every big puncher he fought.the klits are 2 of the biggest punchers in hw history.end of story.

both klits are 1st ballot hof's also so i dont see your point

i dont have any bias.norton was a solid contender in a good fun era.nothing special.thats it.his claim to fame is he outboxed ali.ok.its 1 win.

foreman and shavers punch much harder than either klitschko. in his prime vitali could punch, but today he hardly puts anything on his shots. wladimir is a big puncher, but a lot of guys have been walking through his right hands lately, causing me to question its effectiveness slightly. he clearly doesn't pucnch as hard as shavers and foreman. i'd say he's on a similar tier in power to cooney. again, cooney and shavers stopped norton at the very end of his career.

he was quite aggressive in both fights. in the brewster fight he was extremely aggressive. now i'm not sure that you're reading the posts, as i pointed out explicitly that wladimir's only begun to fight passively since the brewster fight. you're losing me, kid. i'm having a hard time taking your posts seriously at this point. you want me to talk boxing with you if you're a real fan of the sport. ask around.

let me guess, you think a win over sanders is better than a win over ali in '73?

i don't mind if we don't agree, but i can't take you seriously if you're gonna act the fanboy.

Yes, any ATG boxingscene poster would be happy with a fat belly, bald head and hatred towards Vitali (close to his own age) like that.

rofl. how many times a week do i need to post my shirtless picture on this website full of dudes. look around in the lounge and you'll find it if you really care about things like that.

i can assure you that i am not fat, bald, or harboring any hatred toward vitali klitschko. i'm quite realistic about his career. he's a great HW with a resume that leaves a lot to be desired.

            i'm 26 years old.

Ken Norton would go 100-0 over 20 years against today's crop of heavyweights. That's how bad the division is right now.

                You're right on Vitali.

If you're 26 you shouldn't look like Jab also. Godspeed

The blatant insulting is not acceptable. If you want to embarrass the TS go the Bat route - craft a good argument to the topic...

[QUOTE=BattlingNelson;13623634]Leonard has a win over Hagler, does that make him a top 10 MW?[QUOTE] you were discussing Norton as an ATG, not as a top tenner, so that's an invalid comparison.

why did you make an invalid comparison? You must have been aware you were using a false argument. You couldn't find a valid one?

bizarre that you called the OP a derogatory name to round off your failure.

                      anyways, continue.
