just like he killed shavers right?
norton would stand 0 chance against either klitscho, nor any version.he couldnt take a punch.young george was about as crude as it gets and he mauled norton,so i cant imagine him being competitive with much bigger men who are actually skilled.he gets his lights turned out in 3-4 rndsComment

resumes arent defined by 1 win.resumes are about an entire body of work.if we look objectively at vits resume in numbers terms instead of names it would like 1,2,4,1,3,5,2 etc.this guy is dominating the top of his division.he deserves proper credit.i would have liked to see him fight valuez, and maybe dimentrenko but he's fought damn near everybodyComment

shavers is one of the hardest punchers ever, and norton was at the very end of his career. both foreman and cooney were huge punchers as well. norton doesn't have a great chin, but neither does wladimir... it does not discount you from being a great HW.
and on the bold, is that really what you believe? 3-4 rounds? i have a hard time believing any boxing person would think the klitschko brothers would beat kenny norton so quickly. foreman wasn't the world's most polished boxer, but he won a gold medal, had a great jab, and evidently the subtle type of skill that the layman cannot appreciate.Comment

Leonard has a win over Hagler, does that make him a top 10 MW?
Pat Lawlor has a win over Duran. That must make him an ATG?
Alberto Masi beat Monzon. He must be top 10 surely?
One single great win obliterates everything else. Jedi Turd strikes again!Comment

and so are the klitschos.they have some the highest ko% in boxing history.yes shavers hit hard, but he was tiny, couldnt take a punch, and could do absolutely nothing else but throw a hard shot.it doesnt discount you at all,it just means you have a much smaller chance of beating a heavy handed fightershavers is one of the hardest punchers ever, and norton was at the very end of his career. both foreman and cooney were huge punchers as well. norton doesn't have a great chin, but neither does wladimir... it does not discount you from being a great HW.

why would i believe otherwise?because he is ken norton and his name alone will help him survive.he was ko'd by foreman in 2,and shavers in 1,he was kod by somebody else in 7 or 8 rnds, cant remember who.his last fight he was kod in 1.nothing to suggest he would last past 5 with any big puncher.and young george couldnt spell jab, older george worked behind the jab.they fought 2 entirely different stylesLast edited by r.burgundy; 08-06-2013, 02:53 PM.Comment

have you watched wladimir fight.....?
i know that sounds like one of those "ask it to be a jackass" questions, but i highly doubt that you've seen wladimir's fights if you think he's going to come out doing anything other than jabbing and boxing for several rounds.
wladimir has power, but he doesn't fight aggressively at all. cooney, foreman, and frazier were punchers in demeanor as well as physically. wladimir is the most cautious HW champion ever. he's finished only the worst of the worst early. ray austin caught big punch and slumped over and all but asked to get finished. mormeck was an ancient cruiserweight, who always ******. he's waited for opponents to tire and make mistakes since the brewster stoppage. knockout in 8-10 rounds would be my pick. you're underrating norton, and i think it's the product of some sort of agenda.
and no, i won't take seriously somebody who so casually speaks about kenny norton, a hall of famer and a big part of the best era in HW history.
here's another litmus test for your biases:
is kenny norton a lesser fighter than brewster, sanders, and purrity?Comment

You've dodged the question so I'll ask for a second time.
