Although Duran did and is smaller than Floyd.

But why aren't other WW's offer big challenges? People say that he should fight Martinez, Glovokin and even Andre Ward.

Why aren't Cotto, Pacquiao, Broner, Marquez and others asked to take on these much bigger men?

So my point is, Mayweather should be too big to fight the Cottos, Pacquiaos of the world.
Cotto was asked to fight Martinez and he was even considering Golovkin, if I remember correctly.

Pacquiao has been asked to fight Martinez. I mean he fought Margarito for the JMW championship, so I really don't see why not. In fact, Martinez is a JMW fighting at MW and he's smaller than Marg.

Marquez just has Pac's number. He's truly a JWW at best. Can't imagine him fighting regularly any bigger than that.

Broner definitely has the frame to go as high as JMW. But first he has to at least prove himself at JWW lol

Floyd beat DLH for the JMW belt back in 2007. I can't see why he can't fight a Martinez at 154. Although I think Floyd will lose, sure he can fight Golovkin at 154 also. He has no business in the ring with Ward whatsoever. That's crap

The rules that apply to Floyd by his haters don't apply to other fighters. That is why you never see any of the nonsensical comments about other fighters that you see about Floyd. I haven't seen anyone suggest that Andre Ward move up to cruiserweight or suggest Golovkin move up to 175 to fight Bernard Hopkins or Adonis Stevenson, but they have no problems suggesting that Floyd, who started his career at 130 should fight a guy who has been fighting his entire career at 160 or 168.

I didn't know this, link? Seems like it must not have been a dealbreaker, since there was no rehydration clause

                      You're not understanding...

Example: Most think Canelo should use his size against Floyd, meaning smother, lean on & just make it as rough as possible.

Floyd vs JMM was Floyd being the bigger guy but still fighting JMM from the outside making it as fair as it could possibly be. There was no rough housing at all in that fight...nobody walked away saying "damn, Floyd used his size"...he fought JMM as he would any other guy & that's why he got criticized...he didn't go for the kill!
