Brothers in arms - new Swift converts
I am in need of your bro-support
Wife is c**k-blocking my attempt to fly to Orlando to watch this fight live. I'm currently in Texas for several months for work (we live in PA).
Our 10 year anniversary is in March and we have planned a trip to Italy, so we're saving $$ to cash pay that baby. The issue is...she's talking about how the $$ spent, although she means "wasted" on a flight to Orlando can be used for the trip.
I'm like...for $300, I can get a ringside seat. We've gone to other Cotto fights in MSG where $300 we've spent has us in the 300 level.
What's a guy to do. I've lost the battles...I might lose the war

Just rewatched Cotto vs Mayorga a night or two ago. I loved the interview with Tyson in between rounds where he says something to the effect of "These are two guys clearly far past their primes who are just out there trying to make a living, not take chances, and not get hurt." At the end of the fight Al said that based on what he saw that night Cotto have one or two more big fights left in him. How long ago was that? I love watching Cotto fight because he's never boring, I just wonder where he honestly goes after a win here. Sergio and retirement?

His camp under Roach sounds like it's going well and that he's working on his stamina and body punching. If he doesn't look elite against Rodriguez, the writing on the wall will be pretty clear, even if he wins.

I'm just not sure what is next for him if he does. He is older now and I'm not sure who would be a realistic fight that also continues to build his legacy. I feel like its heading to Sergio or Canelo if he looks good here.

Al definitely wanted Mike to leave before he disagreed with him.
Sucks that Nacho has said they don't really want to fight Cotto, I think that means it's going to be Sergio, who even past prime, is a tall order at MW for Cotto. I have faith that he could do it, but it would take 12 rounds of world class boxing.
