All I read was "I hope Matthyse can land that 1 punch". Zab and Devon outboxed this dude easily.Floyd beats him easier, 11 rounds to 1. Skills trump power.

They didn't outbox Mathysse for sh__it they got a home town, localist gift....Alexander more so than Juda. but no doubt that in neutral ground no way they get those wins.

I think it's a 50/50 fight, most of you guys for some reason just think Lucas is gonna walk through him, and it's because you guy's hate Danny and I've figured the connection. You all hate Mayweather, you all hate Danny, you all hate Broner, most of you dislike Rigo and Ward too. Don't mean to generalize.

I love May, Rigo and Ward, I don't hate Danny at all but he's going to get KO'd in 2 rounds, Broner is a bum hunter as well.

I'm not understanding how Garcia fits in with the rest of those fighters. He doesn't fight anything like them.

But Garcia has the same fans, as well. That's been confusing me lately, I don't understand it. What appeals to fans of defensively brilliant fighters about Danny Garcia? Well, Broner isn't a defensively brilliant fighter but he tries to be, so my point remains.

I have to respectfully disagree, I think Zab and Devon both got the job done handily, boxers turn Matthyse and fighters like him into very limited fighters. I think he loses regardless of location.

Trust me, I hear what you're saying, I think Danny is ok, but to say I'm a fan of his would be a stretch (not saying you said that). Just pointing out that for some reason, fans that enjoy the boxer style are also fans of Garcia, even though Garcia lacks that "boxer style". I think a lot of people root for him because he's a Haymon fighter, and he's young and flashy. He represents what the majority of posters here despise.

I think Zab fought as perfect a fight against Lucas as he could and even having done so his W is debatable. I saw Zab hurt Garcia late in their fight and come on strong at the end.


I know styles make fights but I can't see how Garcia beats Matthysse. I can't see how he doesn't get KO'd. Lucas has shown elite power, having a solid chin doesn't seem helpful against him, you have to not get hit at all. Lamont was knocked down by glancing hooks that didn't even fully connect.

It wasn't a solid punch. I thought Peterson would have lasted a few more rounds if he got up. He got frustrated with the ref.
