I have to respectfully disagree, I think Zab and Devon both got the job done handily, boxers turn Matthyse and fighters like him into very limited fighters. I think he loses regardless of location.

You can of course disagree, but anyone worth listening to, from de la hoya to the reporters covering the fight and any serious box journalist, they will all tell you he got robbed. The Alexander fight was just shameful.

does people stop to read? lucas isn't overconfident. and is not like he is calling out mayweather next. he is responding to what people have been talking about, you know, that the winner of this fight may get floyd next and he said that knowing this posibility (a chance to fight the p4p #1 fighter in the world and if that happen get a huge payday) is an extra motivation for the garcia fight.

ps: nor zab or devon outboxed matthysse, zab was a close fight, the KD might give lucas the W. devon was about to quit in round 7 after that, he ran all night, big robbery

I've been watching boxing since I was 10... 16 years now. Tyson-Holyfield II was my first fight ever. Professional anyway.

If you go into every fight thinking "Anything can happen in the ring" then I guess Mayweather vs Guerrero/Khan/Alexander would be 50/50 fights too?

The talent gap between Luke and Danny isn't far apart from each other as for Floyd, he's way better then the guys u mentioned.

Matthysse fans dont want to hear Mayweathers name at all. Its going to hurt them flip flopping from ATG to bum in 3 to 4 months. Assuming he gets passed Danny which is no garuntee.

Matthysee lost to both Alexander and Judah (regardless of whether people think the decisions were controversial). If he is as great as many of the posters on this board think, he would have KO'd both Alexander and Judah.

I think Garcia is better than Judah, but not as good as Alexander. I see this fight as an even fight. Either one could KO the other one or win by decision. Neither one has a snowball's chance in he.ll of beating Mayweather, although I don't think they either will do any worse than Alvarez.

I agree with this. No way Lucas lost 7 out of the 10 rds vs devon. That's the only way he loses that fight. Against Zab he started too late.

Acording to me and most boxing fans and experts, Mathysse got not necessarily robbed but definitely taken a deserved win and kept his "0" against this boxers..especially Devon I just rewached that fight and no way in hell he out boxed, beat or out work Mathysse, and by the way just because he grunts like he is getting (****) doesn't mean he is connecting. Also that excessive holding never penalize for it.

The fight wasn't shameful at all, it was one of the better fights HBO had aired all that year. I had Matthyse clearly winning rounds 4,7, & 8, I had Devon not only outworking, but outboxing Matthyse in all of the other rounds with the exception of Round 1 and 10, those 2 rounds were too close to call. I thought the right guy won that night. Matthyse landed the more meaningful shots, Devon won more rounds decisively. The knock down kept Lucas in the fight.

matthysse easily destroys floyd that's clear. he's not a bum like ortiz or guerrero or completely drained like canelo, he's not a perfect style matchup like marquez. shot mosley had floyd gone but he started doing his joe calzaghe impression and threw nothing but limp wristed arm punches. strange strategy but matthysse wont be doing that even if floyd pays him to throw the fight like most his opponents mattthyse ain't listening. matthysse ko 1.
