Whats more important, fighting to win or fighting to entertain?

You could care less if people boo you? Could care less? Meaning there is room for you to care less, thus you actually do care if people boo you.

Yeah, I think this is what it really comes down to.

Not a Trainer in the world trains their fighter to be Entertaining, people are trying to change the sport of boxing for their own benefits (HBO!) and for the benefits of the fighter they likely personally

That is entirely untrue. A lot of trainers try to get their fighters to have a more offensive output (not to get hit more) which will impress/entertain the people and get them a title shot easier.

Saying that trainers don't do that is absolutely 100% BS. It's very, very common for trainers to try and make their fighters more entertaining. Winning is priority, but entertaining is a big part of things.

Some that can't entertain much in the ring, have to focus a lot on doing so outside it. Think Malignaggi.

Forced to choose one or the other, it depends upon whether you're a fan or a fighter.

A fan wants to be entertained, a fighter wants to win.

Your overcomplicating things. Its simple. Whats more important. Winning or entertaining? 100% of us all feel that WINNING is OBVIOUSLY more important. But some of us are complicating the question to find ways to say that losing in an entertaining fight, is better.
