    What next for David Price?

    • So, he appears to have burned bridges with Lennox Lewis after a three week training camp.
    • He has a questionable chin/heart.
    • He's either poorly trained or incapable of following instructions - Lennox told him to set EVERYTHING up with his jab; he didn't follow through with that.
    • He's been poorly matched.
    • He's already 30 years-old.

His promoter and trainer are clearly to blame; but what next for David Price?

Should he sever ties with Frank Maloney and his trainer and join up with Lennox on a permanent basis? The problem, of course, is that he's already 30 - is it too late? Would another promoter take him?

      Nothing.

He has no heart for the game. Get out now, he must have made a bit of money if he invests it wisely he'll be ok.

Thanks to that big oaf, i have to listen to people saying "Tony Thompson is just below the klitschkos"

david price needs to hook up with lennox properly to gain anything from lennox , he needs to ditch maloney and join some other promoter although it wouldn't be with hearn as he has no interest in signing heavys(apart form big josh).still imo price has been a huge let down , i thought he looked the more accomplished fighter out of are heavys but fook was i wrong.

        and also clev beats kovalev.

So despite you mentioning that he has a questionable chin/heart and that he ignored Lewis instructions, his traininer & promoter are clearly to blame?

          Makes no sense.

What's next for Price is an eternity at domestic or at best Euro level.

I can't believe I had high hopes for Price.

When you go 0-2 with a 40 year old out of shape Thompson, getting stopped twice, your career at the top level is over.

I imagine he's in a severe state of depression at the moment

Hes just too flawed, I don't think even the great late Manny Steward could of helped him.

30 is still young in HW terms buts very flawed and limited. Not sure he'll ever be anything more than Euro level.

I read the other day and have forgotten the exact number but I think he was knocked down 19 times in the amateurs, safe to say he has no chin what so ever.

Confidence can be instilled; every consider that? Plenty of fighters with questionable chins/hearts have gone on to become belt holders.

IMO, he's been poorly matched since turning pro.
