Look we get it. Manny is a non entity so all posters like you have left is floyd hate as a reason for actually logging on. You don't like boxing, you don't like any other fighter, but as long as there is a place to hate floyd you have somewhere to go during the day.

Hopefully manny can beat the winner of bradley/JMM and get back in the conversation for a floyd fight. Outside of Top Rank-where losing gets you a big fight while winning doesn't- fans want to see winners fight each other. Manny right now is a loser.

I honestly don't think either one of them were ever big threats, but Pacquiao doesn't bring Canelo's size, power, defense, and boxing ability to the ring with Floyd. Canelo doesn't bring Pacquiao's speed and angles, but Canelo's speed and combination punching are pretty decent to say the least. That being said, Pacquiao put in the work to be a Floyd opponent, Canelo hasn't proved anything. I think both Canelo and Pacquiao get shut out 10 rounds to 2 by Floyd. Just my opinion, superior skill trumps all.

Did you really just suggest that canelo has better boxing ability than pacquiao? No way that's freaking crazy. Canelos footwork is decent at best, pacquiao has excellent footwork. Canelo has 2 things size and power. If floyd would have shut pacman out then why didn't he do it for 60-75 mil?

canelo too inexperienced at the top level, doesn't have the stamina to pressure floyd for a full 12 rounds, doesn't have the style to give floyd problems, isn't that much taller or has a longer reach than floyd, chin hasn't been tested, has mediocre footwork/can be too flat footed...

all canelo has going for him is the fact that he'll probably be 170-171lbs on fight night and he's considerably younger....THAT'S IT....

The recurring theme from HBO, especially Lampley, its corporate partners (espn, SI) and those whose fighters are shown on HBO is Canelo has little to no chance. I get they are at war with SHowtime but they are working ovetime on the negativity.

HBO seems very threatened by this fight for some reason. Its like they are having a hard time accepting that this is the fight mainstream fans want to see.

of course HBO is butthurt. remember lampley ****ting on showtime for the broner/paulie backlash. lampley is VERY passive aggressive.

i have no doubt HBO will try to downplay floyd/canelo as a one-sided fight, try to take the steam away from the allure. showtime got floyd fighting TWICE for them, HBO is hurt.
