Because pac man turned down the fight, he ducked mayweather. all he had to do was say yes, Pac ducked floyd twice. he was offered the fight and declined.

Ummm all mayweather had to do was agree to a cut off date for the drug testing. The best time to make the fight after the 09' negotiations was may 2012 where mayweather called out pacquiao and then clearly ducked him with that no ppv demand. It was just a few months ago when people were saying Floyd didn't have the SACK to face an up and coming stud like Canelo.

The thing is that you answered why Floyd is facing him in your previous post. Canelo is flat-footed. So Floyd knows he can move around the ring relatively easily. That plus the other issues we know of about Canelo make it "less risky" in Floyd and his team's mind.

Just because the opponent is "bigger" doesn't mean that that signifies we should give a huge credit to Floyd for winning the fight. Man, he is expected to win!!!

The way you give someone like Floyd or anyone huge credit is IF they are fighting someone that people think has a decent chance of winning OR even better, that most people think will win. If Floyd fights that kind of guy and beats him, trust me, he will get the credit ..... but he doesn't want to take that risk.

So that is why people don't give Floyd the kind of credit that you are freely willing to give. It has to be deserving of that kind of credit.

I'm not gonna discredit a win simply because of how skilled a fighter is, doesn't work like that for me. I look at how talented the opponent is, his standing in the division and I go from there. The fact that Floyd is facing a much bigger foe is a plus as well, that's what great fighters do.

It's all relative, is what I mean. If Floyd is supposed to win then that is as much credit as he deserves, not more. If he is cherry picking then he deserves even less, if any.

Whenever he gets the opportunity to fight someone that the majority (not just his fans and some haters) think has a very good chance against Floyd yet Floyd wins, well that is when one can say that he deserves huge credit. Like I said, Floyd avoids risks. He even wanted a CW when both he and Canelo have 3 titles between them at 154. Going by his history of opponent selection, I don't see him getting huge credit in his next fight nor his remaining fights .... but we will have to see what the future holds.

Under normal circumstance Floyd would win easily. He probably will anyway. But he is less mobile. Maybe Canelo can reach him, but Floyd will probably deflect a lot of it.

Canelo's not even the best 154 pounder, I don't think he can beat Floyd.
