Or the winner of marq-bradley then canelo and mayweather one more time, considering the fact that he'll be training with roach..hopefully he'll bring more to the plate and those are the prize fights if Cotto can bring his offense and confidence back !

It's not about teaching an old dog new tricks , it's about reminding the dog how aggressive he use to be and reviving his hunger.... Cotto is far from done, the mayweather fight let us all know, the trout was loss cause of disadvantages , reach, height and cotto isn't Tyson to just get in and break them apart.. Everyone says Cotto was best with evangelista cotto and its true but because his uncle was strict and all about offense , combos and the money punch...after margarito cotto looked for a different approach, box and defend...when he himself was a very offensive fighter prior to margarito, always got hit but came back swinging like crazy... That's what he doesn't do now , he is patient cause of lack of confidence in his offense , put roach in the picture and bring back his offense like before plus the defense he adopted,. And you have a hell of a fighter once again.. The offense we all saw he had and can still bring it, defense he has much of that, it's not easy to keep away from pacquiao for 8 rds straight.. He did...plus he is a good counterpuncher ,.Cotto just needs someone like roach to make him see reality as it is, no offense no game... That's all he needs

Maybe against Sergio , ok.. But Marquez and bradley I think it'll be good fights...plus cotto can barely manage fighting in the 54division yet alone go up to 60 for Sergio ...put Cotto in the 47division and he'll mark his name again for sure...

              Aggressive Cotto is best Cotto.

Hopefully Roach reminds him of this.

Roach isn't famous for building pure boxers, he's famous for building punching machines , speed demons and to boost the fighters confidence to the max..just what Cotto's doctor recommended..lol. This union should be something great for sure , Cotto didn't just choose Roach cause he wants to be the same fighter , Roach has what cotto really needs , offensive mind...

I just wish Cotto would hang it up, the dude s well past it at this stage.

What's the point of wealth without health at this point of your career???

I'm sure Cotto isn't past his prime, he has been the recent one to give mayweather all he can handle,. Now if Canelo can't do half of what Cotto did,. Will Canelo be past his time as well? All cotto needs is the right direction and im sure he'll take it from there..hes young and this has been his life, I'm sure the reason he switches trainers is cause he is in search of one closest to his uncles way of training...thus comes the Roach. Sit back and watch a boxer try to pick himself up from not too far down the ground..

I rue the day Marquez and Cotto share the ring. I hope it never happens because I just may end up rooting against my country man...
