I find it quite funny that the Pacquiao diehards never want to hear excuses when Pacquiao wins but always have excuses when he loses, doesn't look good or can't get the job done.

I'm a fan of both fighters but enough with the excuses on both sides. If your man loses he loses don't make excuses.

punches make a fighter washed up moe than age, morales has been in to many fights with big pucnhes being thrown. hes not washed up, but hes on his way

mexican fighters have a reputation of fading when they hit their late 20s. erik has had many many exciting wars, and i dont care how young you are, eventually those wars take their toll on you.

I don't want to hear another person saying that El Terrible is past his prime. I've seen Morales fighting for a long time, Morales from 5 years ago would've still lost to Pac by TKO.

The better man won & enough with the excuses, El Terrible is not over 40, also he's only had 6 more fights then Pac.
morales has been fighting absurd competition for over ten years. the guy has taken more punishment than any active boxer today. age doesnt matter in this situation

                co-signs.

Morales just needs some MUCH DESERVED time off and he'll be just as good a competitor has he's always been. He's an important asset to the sport.

I been saying it forever that Morales was past his prime so these talks didnt just spring over night. Its not to take anything away from Manny cus the Morales he fought though not in his prime would have probably still beat most fighters out there. But saying he is in his prime obviously shows a lack of knowledge of him and his boxing accolades.

Yeah Morales is 29, but take a look at his resume, its filled with nothing but tough competition, you could split his accomplishments among 3 fighters and they would all be considered considered very well accomplished fighters. That is what makes him an all time great. So all im saying is dont base it on his age, Morales has arguably fought hard enough for 3 boxing careers.

And thats not counting over 114 amateur fights before turning pro.
