Those 6 rounds effectively retired Lewis, he may have won the fight but ultimately didn't want it again. Let's remember, Lewis had just completed a training camp to fight someone else whereas Vitali took the fight at late notice and wasn't scheduled to fight anyone. I think Lewis knew the only way he was beating big bro was on cuts and it's unlikely he would've cut him again so retirement was his best option.

Vitali was on his way to stopping Lewis who was gassed at that point too. I think a rematch Vitali stops Lewis in about 8 rounds.

Wlad?! Its who hits who first and I think Lewis is more likely to land the bigger shots early as Wlad has always been more reluctant to go for a KO in big fights.

False. Vitali was on the undercard of the Lewis' fight. Vitali himself said he'd been preparing for Lewis for years whilst Lennox had just come back for more money.

Vitali was not on the undercard whereas Lewis had been training for Kirk Johnson or whoever. Vitali had been in the gym but wasn't due to fight. Just because he'd wanted to fight Lewis for years, doesn't mean he was more prepared, Lewis had just completed a training camp.

Either way, win lose or draw, the fight with Vitali is the reason Lewis retired from boxing.

Are you going to argue against facts? Vitali was on the undercard of that fight. That is a fact. Don't embarrass yourself any further by trying to deny it.

It may have escaped my memory, who was he due to fight on the undercard, can this be proven? I'm willing to embarass myself further with this one.

Like I said, either way Lewis retired after the Vitali fight rather than take a rematch which to me speaks volumes! Lewis knew he wasn't winning a rematch.

                Lennox/Wlad would be like Lennox/Golota.

                  Try Google.

Lewis had enough money in the bank to retire and live his life 10 times over. No point in fighting again if you aren't really up for it. His career won't be defined by the Vitali fight but Vitali's career is defined by losing to Lewis.

Vitali was supposed to fight Cedric Boswell

This I can agree with whereas I can't see Lewis beaing Vitali other than on cuts.
