why is pacquaio fighting rios and not alvarado?

I always thought alvarado had belt but there are so many maybe he has sone silver or something. But fine then how about the winner or at least a fighter not coming off a loss.

Alvarado apparently had an injury and couldn't be 100% reliable to fight on the Macau card. Alvarado and Rios traded wins so I don't really see the big deal.

Rios is the more marketable fight and yes his style suits Pacquaio.

But stop trying to paint Mike Alvarado as some slick mover just because he boxed a little against Rios. It's ***ing laughable but I know what your agenda is.

As for my agenda, it's simple: Relative to manny its Fight the guy that just beat the guy your signed to fight. relative to his fans its-stop pretending rios is a tough fight. admit he got the fight because he his style makes it more likely manny will not just win, but look impressive.

yet he could be the main eventer on a televised card 5 weeks earlier in his hometown which, should he get hurt in training, would surely mean the card would be cancelled.

The Macau card was announced weeks ago, they needed a reliable opponent. Having to cancel the Macau fight would be a lot worse than cancelling a fight in Alvarado's hometown.

See what I'm getting at. You are not a diehard manny fan so you would be impressed with a win over Mike, regardless of how it was achieved. IMO most of manny's fans only want to see fights where manny gets an KO. Its about HOW he wins not if.
