Yeah, maybe I am, but there is a reason Rios has almost three times the twitter followers as Alvarado.

Popularity determines payday, unless you're with Haymon and get paid regardless.

no 1 can make a logicial statement till the $$ is known...hbo is a higher version of epsn, they don't pay well, & many times there are fees the average fan is not aware of, like a sanctioning bodies title & belt fees....hbo has their own "fees"....

        Again....

"How does anyone know what price Alvarado is asking for? How does anyone know he is being greedy?

Is it just because he is not taking the first offer he is getting?"

Just because he isnt taking the first offer thrown his way doesnt make him greedy. And also, to his credit, it isnt like he is some boring fighter. His fight with Prescott, and his 2 with Rios were barnburners. And the Prescott win was a bloody, come from behind last round KO a la Arturo Gatti. It isnt as much about "titles" as it is about styles, and he has a good, TV friendly one. PLUS a title to boot!

He won the fight on points technically, but he will never be the same fighter as pre rios. He saw he wasn't the man like he thought. Now he has doubts in his mind. That means he's as good as finished. He's a shot fighter mentally. Night still have the skills physically but his illusions of invincibility were shattered. He's going to become like Kermit Cintron. Provodnikov would rip his head off. He should look for some easy fights against guys who can't punch--see if he can get some self confidence back... But I doubt it....
Ummmm.... Did he quit vs Rios? Because you sure as hell are talking like he did. The ref stopped the fight. And contrary to what the judges had at the time of the stoppage, i think everyone can agree that it was a pretty even fight (i had Alvarado winning at the time) up to the TKO. AND he complained about the stoppage.

Afterwards he did what a person with balls would do. he took a rematch. and in the rematch he did what a person with half a f***ing brain would do. he made adjustments. Now if he WON the rematch, and got a crappier fight then the guy he beat, can you imagine the position he would be in if he fought like a dumbass and got KO'd in the rematch? All in all, i think he made the right decision. I dont know how much money he is asking for to call him greedy, but had he lost to Rios a second time, this wouldnt even be an option for him.

Nothing I hate more than a fighter that thinks because he beats a guy that he should get the bigger fight than the guy he beat. Thas straight bull****. Then he's ****ing whining like a ***** that the guy he beat gets the exsposure of a ppv while he gets the exsposure of WCB.

**** Mike. TR should fire his ***** ass for having the nerve to complain about this being un fair. Puto, chicken **** hype job.

I support Mile High. They screwed him out of a golden ticket and are trying to feed him to a 147 pound relentless power puncher for chump change.
