Avlarado adjusted for the 2nd fight. He moved, he worked hard, and he dug deep. Rios had the capability to hurt him but got frustrated and just grinned like a clueless poodle for the 2nd half of the fight. That's called skill, not running. Alvarado was hitting and moving. He wasn't being negative, he was being smart.
Don't get me wrong, running is bad, like how Dirrell ran from Froch. It should be frowned upon. What Alvarado accomplished against Rios was not running away. It was the right way to fight Rios, and the world was unanimous in agreeing that Mike won that fight, so I have no idea where this 'brass balls' hate is coming from.
