Where did I say I thought they were both bums??? merely playing devil's advocate for the sake of stimulating banter hardly qualifies as an opinion let alone a hard fact........in other words............CHECKYO SELF......before you wreck yo self......

the problem is all discussions about nonito are at the extreme rather than the middle.

His performance vs rigo showed he wasn't a top p4p fighter and that he lacked some basic skills. But he still has his power and unless you can box like rigo he proably will take you out.

He clearly isn't done but he clearly doesn't warrant the reaction max kellerman had on fight game.

Never was. Overhyped from the get go. Rode the Pinoy coattails as long as Pac was a media darling. As soon as Pac was KTFO and Nonito had to stand on his own, he got owned.

I put him slightly above Gesta but slightly below Bert Batawang

wow, tough crowd. 'nito dominates SOLID competition for years, continues to build his brand... then takes on rigo when he COULDVE pursued mares or any other fighter... WOW.

rigo officially had "winky" status. donaire couldve ducked him and the public wouldve forgotten after a few KO wins. the hype around 'nito was strong at the time. honestly, with the backlash that followed, donaire SHOULDVE ducked and secured another payday.... being called a ducker seemed to be the better option compared to what ACTUALLY happened.

all respect goes to 'nito for fighting rigo. donaire spent years building his name, and in one night loses everything. worst part, it all goes to waste because rigo cant even capitalize on the win, execs dont want to put him back on.
