When you lose against top notch competition you're declared a bum, according to BS.

Unfortunately he managed to avoid Nishioka during his prime and Abner Mares. He also tried to avoid Rigondeaux who eventually dominated him.

Good resume, but still overhyped fighter IMO.
he didnt avoid any of these guys, he was fighting at 112 and 115 mostly

Nishioka was available at least one year before he fought him. Mares challenged several times before and chased him to 122. Rigo... well we all saw what happened there.

He's definitely not a has-been and there is no reason to believe that he is past-prime yet: he lost against a better fighter.

One year before Nishioka Donaire was at 118 and one year before that he was a 115. And it's not like Donaire can make Mares happen anyway, it' bigger than him.

Underestimated?! Bwahahaha.... He was ducking him for years and after finally corned to take the fight. Nonita then out of no where forces Rigo to test when Nonita said his opponents didn't need to. After Rigo schooled the hype job, it became even more obvious why Nonita was ducking Rigo all this time. Now the flash hype is back fighting cab drivers smaller then him.

I will tell you what Donaire is. He is the most unfairly hated active pro boxer along with Amir Khan.
