Chavez' skills are a joke and his power is overrated, but he's got huge stones, that's a fact.

          • Chavez won't fight him. He ran from Martinez for years even though a win over Sergio would had made him the number 1 middleweight. He has been handpicking his opponents all his career, he ain't going to stop now.

He is just trying to get attention, trying to stay relevant. He doesn't mean it, he is interested only in guys like Brian Vera...

            • I call BS on Julio Jr.! GGG flattens JCCJ inside of 5.
However, I'd pay to see it.

Abel Sanchez told during an interview that GGG sparred with Chavez (5 rounds) and with Quillin (3 rounds) in the same session. Abel Sanchez was evasive on Chavez though...

A few months later I got a phone call from the producer of a Spanish-language sports show, who swore that he witnessed Golovkin "embarrass" Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the Wild Card gym during an open workout held for the Latino media a few weeks before the unbeaten middleweight pulled out of scheduled Dec. 4 card.

This fight is legit as it gets. Let's see GGG stalk a bigger, stronger guy with an iron chin.

Very good test for a guy that people are claiming to be the next superstar.
I agree it would be a great test and fight for us fans. I still believe that if Gennady was to stop and or KO Chavez Jr which I think he would, I doubt there is anybody in the 160-168 pd divisions that could beat him with the exception possibly of Ward.
