no way man. predict sportsbook would have jr. as a massive underdog.
chavez jr.'s casual boxing fans just keep on hyping him. butt thats all there is.

That was probably the worst showing for GGG. Rosado is a club/bar fighter with like 6 lossess. Friggin TMT welfare receiptant J'Leon Love actually looked good against Rosado for 4 or 5 rounds.

GGG has been getting the Broner treatment from HBO. Go back and look at his record who has he fought? Macklin was his biggest fight which doesn't say much. Oouma is in the twilight of his career. Don't even bring up Prosaka who fought a bunch of cab drivers before GGG and Sergio Mora who both beat him. Do I think he beats Martinez? Yes, but only b/c Martinez is on the slide downward.

GGG loses to Chavez Jr, Bika, Ward, and Keith Thurman. Froch and Quillen have a decent shot of beating him too. I don't see HBO matching him against any of these fighters except Ward. That only works b/c Ward is desperate for any fight and a loss against wouldn't hurt GGG's stock as a fighter.
He's not being protected, no MW contender with something to lose wants to step in with him, just listen to the rival promoters. His first fight on HBO was scheduled vs Pirog, who got injured. Proksa took it after bigger names like Macklin, Quillin, and Rubio passed. This was for the fight in August 2012, when you registered. Seems like you followed boxing at the time, how did you miss this?

Another LOL for Thurman, Bika, etc.

        • I think Chavez jnr would be the perfect fight to send GGG's stock into the stratosphere. Everybody can agree on one thing with jnr ... he is probably the toughest and most durable 'middleweight' out there. Thing is, his style is PERFECT for GGG, jnr just plods forward face first. No matter how good your chin is you can't do that with somebody who has GGG's power.

          • If Chavez Jr really want to make a name for himself and quickly get right back into the mix of things at 160 then yeah a win over GGG would be HUGE!

Say what you want about Chavez Jr, he does have a chin and excellent stamina considering how much he drains himself to make weight, not a easy fight for GGG at all and GGG Defense is not great so Chavez will have a much easier time hitting GGG then he had with Martinez

What does the date when I registered for a website have to do with anything?

GGG has received the HBO Broner treatment, overhyped against lackluster opponents. I'm a Broner fan, but thats only because I find him amusing. His opponents haven't been much better. GGG is a good fighter, just not the Archie Moore they are making him out to be.

I think Chavez Jr is right on this one. He beats GGG. My opinion is my opinion. Whether some anonymous guy or girl on the internet agrees doesn't concern me. zfg

Chavez has no problem with WBA/IBO champion Gennady Golovkin, but he wants the fight to take place at the super middleweight limit of 168-pounds or a catch-weight. The fight with Vera is going to happen at a catch-weight of 165.

it wouldn't suprise me one bit if Jr iced GGG.....the kid is huge for 160....can he even make that weight anymore?....but I bet they can work out a CW...maybe 165....yea, I'd take Jr in that one all day....how does GGG react to having to go backwards?!?...how does he handle pressure from a big dude like Jr.?!? .....I mean, we know how Jr responds to getting punched in the face....he eats that **** like cereal and keeps coming...so if all GGG can do is punch him the face, then GGG has a problem imho

He stepped in for Geale to fight Pirog, as his first fight on the network. How's that being protected?

Is Macklin being protected? He beat Sturm, and was good enough to face The Champ on HBO, win rounds and go 11. He was Sergio's highest rated opponent in a 2 year stretch he was top 5 p4p.

You don't seem to know much about this, but feel real strongly about it, that's my problem.

You need to do some research my dude, GGG been sparring big boys for a while :

“He’s a f__king beast,” said Coyne, a 20-0 cruiserweight prospect who has recently dropped down to light heavyweight. “He’s been running guys out of here. Nobody under 175 pounds will spar with him.

“I’ve sparred with heavyweights who can punch, including Mariusz Wach and Mike Perez, nobody has hit me as hard as Golovkin. His power is out of this world.”

You have to remember GGG out pointed guys like Andre Dirrell and Geale in the amateurs and his overall record was 300+ wins and 5 losses so obviously the guy knows how to handle himself in the ring when his power isn't just getting through.

Chavez is a big boy but thats all he is. He lacks fundamental skills.
