    Who should Canelo spar with?

If bit were up to you to choose his sparring partners to get him ready for Floyd, who'd you pick? And why?

    I say:

Broner: cause of the poor man's Floyd shoulder roll and certain punches he throws.

Lara: he has great footwork, good counter skills and quick hands.

Guzman: he's a mover and had quick hands and was kinda hard to hit at some point.

Forbes: just cause he's been trained by the Mayweathers and they've sparred before.

If I had to choose a name from the top of my head it would probably be Hopkins. I think that would best help Canelo improve in closing the ring on Floyd and just overall help him prepare for Floyd's movement and ring smarts.

I agree with you on Broner, may not be as refined as Floyd's defence but it would still help him get ready for Floyd's guard.. I wouldn't see Broner doing it though.

Lara is a southpaw. I'm not sure how that would help Canelo.

Can't go wrong having a legend as a sparring partner.

Not being funny but Malignaggi probably mimics Floyd's movement around the ring better than most. Tim Bradley is another decent alternative.

The likes of Broner and Berto are static, or come-forward fighters. Canelo needs to spar someone who is going to run from him.

I think Bradley would be most optimal, the problem with Malignaggi is that he has great movement, but Canelo needs to find someone with a sharp right hand that throws at any given moment.

Guys like Lara and Bradley and world class fighters aren't going to be sparring partners for anyone.
