I probably wouldn't put my money on Marquez either, but that doesn't take away from the fact that in the end he proved to be the better man. Pacquiao should win if they meet a 5th fight, he simply should. Marquez showed slippage, looked a lot slower, not as sharp and if Bradley isn't effected by the beating he took in his last outing...he should outbox Marquez.
Totally correct. Marquez has won this rivalry. But I don't rate him over Pacquiao.

He could have come up with an excuse but was his lack of one due to his legendary "humility" or it was it due to the fact that he was put to sleep, and soundly at that? Who knows, maybe if a theoretical matchup happened between the two Pacquiao would avenge this loss but I don't believe so. Boxing, like so many things is like gravity. What goes up must and will come down. And imho, what happened to Manny was the final manifestation of his decline.

Sometimes a great performer can stay on stage so long they stink it up.

Marquez respects the sport and he wants to define his career for more than jus' being the man that could tangle with/ beat Pacquiao. He understands this and said it recently.

Manny had Marquez in big trouble in the 5th. It could have happened then and Marquez didn't look too good after that either but was able to muster that good shot at the end of the 6th which turned the fight on a dime. Just before the KO, Manny looked in control of the fight. Yes, the momentum could have and did change but the fact was that the momentum was in Manny's favor.

Manny pay the man 50/50 quit ducking you looser. If and if they do fight again it must be at 138 catchweight. Marquez gave up all the physical advantages to Manny in the 3rd and Manny somehow still manage to choke. And if that wasn't bad enough they wanted to beat him so bad that they made him fight at 147 and he ends up getting KOd lol. Now lets see if Manny is willing to even up the playing field and fight at a weight where Marquez is comfortable fighting.

Some of the greatest rivalries in the history of this sport continued after one fighter was KO/TKOd.
                Yeah, but Marquez/Pac didn't end after the 1st, 2nd or 3rd fight.

It has gone on for 4 fights, all close except the last, which is why it's ended now. After a brutal one punch KO, that's it. No need for more.

JMM should give Manny a chance to redeem the loss. Manny was dominating up to that point.

This isn't The Walking Dead. There's nothing to comeback from. Marquez ended this feud via death.
