We all know the truth, some just won't admit it.

Check all of Marquez interviews, he refers to wanting to keep this 'feeling' forever, and that if he were to fight again he would jeopardize that, he knows there is no greater victory in the sport right now available to him and there never will be after he lost to Mayweather.

Marquez knows there is practically little to no chance the same situation will occur again, and he knows the next fight could end with Pacquaio beating him decisively, and if that happens Marquez KO will be gone with the wind, it will be forgotten, and he will be back to square one.

Marquez is a prideful mexican and I don't think right now he is willing to accept the possibility of the best win of his career being forgotten about so soon. If Marquez were so confident with his ability to beat Manny, why would he not accept a rematch with a 12 million pay day? It's obvious, because he doubts his ability and his chance to repeat the same scenario, he knows that a person coming for revenge who has a whole country on his shoulders will not step out of the ring unless you are broken and battered.

In the end it's clear to see Marquez for now is avoiding Pacquaio, because in the history of this sport knocking the same person out cold twice just does not happen often enough to warrant 'skill'.

Pfft.... Marquez doesn't want an "easy" fight for HUGE money over a guy he supposedly beat 4 times. Hell no, he wants those high-risk, low pay jobs.

With that attitude we would have never gotten the 4th.

If a guy is getting outclassed and he wins by connecting with ONE punch, is that a convincing victory? There's too much luck involved there...but in this case a lot of ******ity on Pacquiao's part also. Disrespect got him.
it wasn't a lucky one punch though

when you're landing the same punch all night, it has nothing to do with luck.

              Landing the punch all night?

He landed it a few times, don't exaggerate.

marquez was getting hammered and would have been broken down if manny hadn't walked onto that shot, and for manny to give him all those chances at revenge and the paydays only for juan to say no to giving manny a shot at revenge makes him look like a duck, especially when he is fighting someone else for a lot less money and infront of a lot less fans

Manny isn't in charge of the scorecards and even so, they were incredibly close fights and I can't disagree with the decisions.

If Marquez is honourable he will award Pacquaio a rematch.
