It matters because one was a competitive fight where the one being KOed was actually taking over and appearing on the verge of KOing the opponent himself. The other fight, it's a one sides beating that would give NO REASON to have a rematch.

How many WARS has everyone seen that can match what Marquez and Pac have provided to the Boxing world since last December???? I am not a fan of boring fights and pitched battles are rare as hell so hell yeah, bring on a 5th fight. Sure as hell beats 90% of the fights you have seen since or for this entire year!! In 6 months, I can name very FEW if any fights that provide the anticipation and excitement those two warriors gave us in December. You are seeing 2 ATG's in the same ring, pouring their heart and soul out. Rare as hell.

it was as usual a back and forth fight, but pac koing marquez lol no one thought that and pac was not on the verge of that.

Anyone who doesn't want to see two ATG's go at it again obviously is biased because I challenge ANYONE on these boards to come up with a handful of fights that equal or top what these guys produce in the ring. How many times do you get excited about a 3 card HBO or Showtime event or even a PPV and end up with a boring decision, a fighter who comes in out of shape, doesn't make weight, doesn't show the will to win?????? Maybe you have a huge list of fights that can equal what Pac and JMM produce but that list is in fantasy land cause I haven't seen them. What 1-2 fight in the last 6 months?? I doubt it! You'll be lucky to see 3 fights in a two year period as good.

I'm trying to remember this fight I saw where a guy got knocked down...and on the way down he took a swing and clipped the other guy on the nose and blood was gushing everywhere. Had to stop the fight and guess who won?

If a guy is getting outclassed and he wins by connecting with ONE punch, is that a convincing victory? There's too much luck involved there...but in this case a lot of ******ity on Pacquiao's part also. Disrespect got him.

Pacquiao says he has about 3 fights left. Marquez refused 13 million so he takes Rios. There's Sergio Garcia, Mattheus, and maybe Floyd will grow some balls. No room for Marquez. Broner in the mix if he proves his last fight was a mirage.

It's a convincing victory, more so after the world saw Marquez get robbed in what was suppose to be the end of the trilogy; 3rd fight. That fight itself should have been the end of it, but the judges sought to rob Marquez. What else do people want? The fight has been recycled far too many times.

I agree, that was Marquez at his most vulnerable and instead of taking his time, he tried to push the issue against arguably the best counter puncher in the game.
