How can you duck a guy you almost killed? Pacquiao should focus on guys he can actually beat like Bum Bum Rios and Abner Mares.

not a duck, but marquez should give pac a rematch because not many guys would've gave him one that many times.

but i say whatever marquez decides is his decision it's his time to shine and to be on top so let pac fly to mexico the same way marquez flew to the philiipines lol marquez should have fun with it a bit.

I don't think he is ducking....cause he did mention if the fight happens, it will be in Mexico and if Arum turns that down, Pac will be to blame for not dropping or suing Arum for preventing the rematch. Marquez calls the shots now.

But for anyone to say there is no reason for a rematch - that is about the dumbest statement ever for one simple reason - how many fights have you seen since that fight that were pitched back and forth wars????? Not that many! Compared to the stinkers and boring fights or great matchups that failed to live up. In a way, these two guys were made for each other and made for Boxing.

My only issue is their health and when do those punches catch up to one or both guys. Fights like those are not a dime-a-dozen....they are rare.....and very damaging on both sides.

lol not sure if serious.......... if you remember Pac made JMM wait a long time for a 3rd match and deemed him irrelevant. Then all of a sudden he wanted to fight JMM to prove he's the better fighter.

All fights were close, we wanted a decisive ending to this rivalry and we got it the best way - a KO. It's over, they've both won battles against each other but JMM won the war.

You don't get "points" for being in the fight before you got KO'd, all that counts is the KO! I mean seriously people, that's just a ridiculous way to try and defend your argument. Day 1 boxing stuff, really.
If you can't see the difference between losing the rounds and winning by KO versus winning every round decisively then KOing to put the guy out of his misery then I can't help you!

It matters because one was a competitive fight where the one being KOed was actually taking over and appearing on the verge of KOing the opponent himself. The other fight, it's a one sided beating that would give NO REASON to have a rematch.

Talk about ridiculous .... I can't even believe that I had to explain myself!!!!

Marquez probably wants to be remembered as the guy that killed Pacquiao. What chance does he have in a rematch? Esp with drug testing. Anyway, 4 is more than enough. Time to move on.

The only thing it changes is how dominating one was versus how the other person turned it around and won, so what? What does that have to do with JMM finally bringing closure to the rivalry after the close fights in which there was controversy? Your point would only hold weight if it was their first fight. Second at best.
