JMM and his people will argue that he won all 3 n the last one he ko manny so there's no need but I think he lost all three by as close as u can possibly lose a fight n then got his revenge on the 4th fight. So I will say yes. i know, he didn't just ko PAC, he got him his bottle, his frisa, his bate bate chocolate and put him sleep. I get that but I think manny deserves 1 rematch. I would love to see too. That forth fight was popping!! Them ninjas went at it.

Manny gave this guy 2 rematches following his first official win over JMM but now JMM has a victory he is ducking a rematch. Id like to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope JMM has the mutual respect to give Manny a shot at revenge but if he doesn't I'm saying the guy is a duck.

The first two matches were controversial. People demanded a 3rd, Pacquiao cherry picked Marquez the 3rd fight it back fired and the decision was controversial. Pacquiao didn't do Marquez any favors... He gave him those rematches because the fights ended with controversial decisions and no "clear" winner"

The 4th ended with Pacquiao unconscious and Marquez being awarded the KO win. No controversy, with only one man standing. It was settled.

Now if Marquez didn't do the 5th fight to go fight some stiff like Soto Karrass or something then Yea. I guess it would seem that he was avoiding Pacquiao, but he isn't he's fighting a much younger fighter for his 5th division championship.

The ducking argument is ******ed and it's only used by die hard biased Pacquiao fans that believe he can avenge his loss in a 5th fight.

The reason that Pac and Marquez kept having rematches is because they were all relatively close fights and were all debated among boxing fans. Now that Marquez has decisively beat Pacquiao in a fight that leaves no room for debate, there is no reason for a rematch. Pacquiao was knocked out, plain and simple.

budd, the KO was decisive but overall the fight was not. Manny was in control at that point but Marquez issues a stunning KO. If Marquez was winning every round and then KOed Manny then you would have a point but that is NOT what happened.

The reason Marquez and some others don't want another fight is that they want to see it ended with Manny losing and are worried that if they fight again, Manny would have a decent chance of winning and possibly by a wide margin.

There have been many fights where the loser comes back and wins the rematch. Yes, even though they lost by KO the first time.

That fight and that rivalry is high quality stuff. Unless you have an agenda, a 5th would be big unless something happens to one/both of the fighters in their next match(es).

Rematches usually happen when there's a question in the outcome of a given fight. The only reason Marquez would give Manny a rematch at this point is to appease the legions of deluded Pacquiao followers. Manny was utterly erased in their last fight, not beaten, not overcome, but absolutely frickin erased.

What about that last fight leads anyone to believe there should be a rematch? Should Manny have given a rematch to Hatton after he was mopped up like gravy? Imho there is no compelling reason for a rematch except to mend the broken little hearts of the Pacquiao obsessed. Who weren't merely watching a fighter lose when they witnessed Pacquiao getting stretched, rather it was the fall of their god.

I stopped reading here because with this logic, the rest must be equally flawed. This guy. The fight was decisive if it ended in a KO. What does it matter how the fight was before the KO if the KO is the most absolute conclusion to a fight there is? You don't get "points" for being in the fight before you got KO'd, all that counts is the KO! I mean seriously people, that's just a ridiculous way to try and defend your argument. Day 1 boxing stuff, really.
