This thread should be changed to worst knockout recipient. Would you rather be p Willed or Hattoned? Look like you got sniped, ass up and eyes open or look like a gorilla threw a tree at you and you flew the f uck onto your back like a victim.

But Tszyu is a legendary fighter and Tony wasn't really.

Do people even count the Winky Wright win?

He hadn't fought in 3 years or something and was totally irrelevant at the time.

I hope people aren't trying to compare their legacies because Hattons is superior by far. Williams is not HOF material. Hatton is a HOF lock. /discussion.

I think astute boxing fans do count the Winky win. Was Winky in his prime? No.

Is past prime Winky better than anyone Hatton has ever beat? Debatable.

              That should not be debatable.

This question is almost a bannable offense. The Punisher beats most welterweights in his era. He had two pfp kings scared to death of their own shadow. All Hatton had was a fanbase. That might get you a big fight but it won't help you win one.

Hall of fame has lowered its standards over the years. I wouldn't be surprised if they let Ricky in.

If he makes it to the HALL its because he had an incredible and extraordinary fanbase. He was POPULAR and beloved.

His resume really isn't better than Paul Williams.

The Sergio Martinez that Williams narrowly out-pointed is far better than Ricky Hatton.

                    I agree with this guy.

Although Floyd not fighting P Will was more business than anything.

Hatton will make it because of popularity and politics not his boxing resume.

it matters a great deal how and when you beat said legendary (not even really legendary in my book, great HOF fighter yes but far from legendary) fighter.
