I didn't post anything about how ggg would feel about going to china or what he said about others. From an HBO standpoint its not ideal. add to that GGG isn't a top rank fighter.

Nothing is impossible. It just doesn't seem likely.

Lol are you serious? Where did u get that number from. 2 days is 13 mins long and mosty uses footage from the fight. Didn't the 24/7s cost like 750K, but this costs "far more" then that? C'mon. Someone who knows photoshop and final cut can make that in a couple of hours

Yeah, doubting it cost much at all to be honest.

Produce and air. I'm pretty sure 15 m ins of HBO primetime is exspensive. I'm also pretty sure it takes more than a couple hoursseeing that they show it a month or two after the fight.

$2.5 million to produce 2 days?!!!! C'mon. All it is is interviews while showing footage. They have camera crews follow GGG for a couple days, then edit the film.

Give him a year at this rate and he'll be the biggest in the world. He's already taken over the hardcore fans (e.g. in this place every second thread is about him) the casuals will be a few months behind, but expect the Murray fight if Murry's visa is cleared to do very good numbers and then if the Martinez one happens after that it will be one of the biggest fights of 2014

You guys look to be correct if its just production costs. I'm seeing costs to produce an episode of much bigger hour long shows at considerably less. I can't find anything that suggests how much 15 minutes of air time on HBO is worth but I'm gonna do some more research.

HBO owns HBO, they dont have to pay for airtime!
