They advertised this fight on their network a lot. I still think a motivated Chavez Jr. KO's him within 5 rounds.

JCC Jr. is a talentless hack who's only skill at 160 is that he weighs 190 when he gets in the ring. Golovkin will murder him. It boggles my mind that people who claim to be boxing fans and know boxing have any regard for JCC Jr. at all. Nobody in the boxing world shares that regard.

Dont care about selling or money but there were alot of empty seats in a small venue. HBO has lots of subscribers.

I was at Sergio-dzinzurik in the same exact venue and it had less people, about 2000-2500, and that was the fight following the Paul KO

Sadly it won't last, his coach is worried about burning him out. Watching Golovkin 5 times every year would be great.

Thing is fighters spar in the gym when they can take "stay busy" fights against decent opponents. Fighting 5 tough fighters a year will burn you out but easier bouts in between wont, especially with guys like golovkin who KOs his opponent real early

But you never know, Leo santA Cruz fought 5 times last year I think and said it burnt him out and will mostly likely fight only 2-3 times this year

He's doing much better numbers than Sergio Maravilla MArtinez ever did.

Martinez actually did 1.5 mil with the P. Will II fight and averages 1.1 mil on a regular basis. He also had a 500k ppv not that long ago.

It's good that GGG is finally becoming an attraction, I really like watching him fight.

Oh I see so against Sergio he was unmotivated for 11 rounds but then round 12 came and Jr. suddenly found his motivation. How convinient...Get real GGG will brutalize that unskilled hype job
