    You are right, and you are wrong. It's fine as long as SM intends to fight GGG. You can't expect fighters to come off long layoffs, particularly injury layoffs and not require a tune up fight....that's unfair to Martinez and even to GGG who wouldn't be fighting the best Martinez, and the fans too.

    Fighters have always had tune ups against lesser opponents after long layoffs, injury and even just to sharpen up before a big bout.

    That said at this point it will be difficult for Sergio given his age and injuries to defeat a 31 yo prime GGG.
