If Golovkin could reach 175 comfortably, had experience in that division (atleast 1 fight) and wanted to, I'd have no problem with David Haye coming down to fight him. Why would I? If you go into someones weight class they are your equal.

Who's problem is that? Why fight in a division you don't belong in then? Why bother facing Canelo in the first place? If you fight in JMW you fight people who can come in at 154 as the division states.

I would give GGG credit if he won, definetly. Why should I not? Because he a middleweight belt? Fighters can fight wherever they want as long as they make the weight.

Floyd should not be fighting 154 fighters if he is not willing to accept these kinds of challenges... it opens up too many options which I don't think he would want. Don't get me wrong, I want Gennady to destroy middleweights and super middleweights, but if he can make 154, with his boxing ability, talent, attributes and sheer power he could cause the upset of this lifetime, and if he did he deserves full credit. It's intriguing because GGG just seems like a much better fighter than Canelo, Cotto or any of Mayweathers opponents at 154 or 147.

You think that would be an upset? The upset of this lifetime? GGG beating Floyd (if he's healthy at 154) is the more likely outcome, that's what is supposed to happen. I wouldn't give GGG much credit for KOing a 36 yr old, 150lb Floyd, just like I didn't give Floyd much credit for beating Marquez. I'm not interested in this type of fights when one guy has too many advantages. That's not what I watch boxing for.
