I really wish the williams fight would've happened,or the ortiz fight, or the kirkland fight so we can see just what canelo is really made of. But I guess it's a money thing.It's now or ne er for these two to get it on and it's just too much money to pass up.

One thing dlh isn't taking into account is all of the people who are tuning in because they hate mayweather. Also mayweather is mainstream and most mainstream people aren't going to go stand outside for some goofy press conference.

this right here is the truth. Alot of mayweathers success with ppv buys is because of mexicans. He only fights on cinco de mayo and Mexican independent day weekend so what does that say. And has floyd ever drew 40 thousand?? Ok so u say ten thousands seats were at ten$. So that leaves thirty thousand more reg priced seats?? The Chicago presser was 95 percent fans for fn canelo. Floyd is a draw but canelo is a draw as well. Only diffrence is canelo could pack big stadiums in two countries as well

I really think Mayweather knows that Canelo will draw more fans than he will because he's smart enough to know most people buy his fights hoping to see him lose. Mayweather might be an A**hole outside the ring but he is a brilliant businessman. He Knows the more fans Canelo gains the more money he will get when they buy the PPV hoping to see him lose.

No if the lowest is $10 then all the seats are going to be cheaper too. You can't have a jump from $10 tickets straight to $100, the next one were probably $20 or $25 then $50 > $100 etc.

Nothing new, Mayweather has never had a big traveling support. 90% of the arena was Brits when he fought Hatton. He does sell buckets of PPV's though which Canelo has yet to do.
