I'll never understand the Rigo situation. He put a clinic, let me repeat clinic on the then no. 5P4P and he didn't get ranked in The Ring top 10. He's gifted but he isnt fan friendly.

Maybe he needs to make some noise and call a few man out.

So breaking nonitos eyes and having 8 ko in 12 fights is a point game? He coast to when he is not challege it, but if you press him he will kick your a$$... That's the life of a counter.

With Rigo went wrong, went wrong with them, and now are not going to give good fights
Rigondeaux should shout out Scott Quigg and offer him a shot...
Scott Quigg will get demolished but It would get Rigo back on the map once again with a meaningful win, its not for the fact Quigg is not a good fighter its just the fact Rigo is unique.

His career is not over, but going up because you have no challenges is not the smart thing to do in his case, he already had a great win and some batams that are coming up, Mares move up and is with GBP so whatever he says is pointless, i'm sure TR would let Rigondeaux fight Mares but GBP will never oblige, Hagler fought a bunch of good and not so good fighters without ever leaving the 160 division...

Harsh but somewhat I can agree...
Its hard to sell your stock If you want to be a PPV fighter which I don't think Rigondeaux ever will be, he doesn't have the style to sell.
The way he fights is gruelling and I can imagine taking alot of steam out of him because he works very hard but people 9/10 times are going to favour someone being able to mix it up in offence and defence, not the best watch when someone is on the backfoot the entire fight.
Stand your ground once in awhile, I'm not saying walk onto shot but at the very least you shouldn't have to take 5/10second spells of dancing around the ring with inactivity nobody wants to see that, that is time wasting in its own right.

The champion of the division doesn't call people out when he's already fought everyone, do they??
It's either he finishes with the 122 division and moves up...
Seems like the only thing he can relatively do to maybe make some more noise.

Rigondeaux always stand when fighters press him, the problem of course is that when they get hit they tend to became gun shy and not press too much, ask donaire and Ramos, Rigondeaux won his fight against donaire in the very first round, nd rush in Rigondeaux meet him in the middle of the ring and counter him with a hard left, sending him to the ropes and that's all she wrote, he felt the power like never before and knew he could get hurt, and he did...

What do you mean by fighting like an amateur? He commit to his punches now and then, he breaks ppl face, he is not an amateur, he is the lineal SBW Champ coming off a wide Ud over the # 5 P4P fighter and got him runing for his life in the last round, he is not a brawler he is a counter puncher and they all fight that way, stop repeating the $h1t some promoters are spreading...
