Rigo with 11 fights, fought the PFP #5 in the world, GGG can't even get a fight with a top 10 guy in his division.

After Rigo beat Donaire 2-3 guys openly said that they didn't want to fight him, what does have to do with any promoter?
Are u ****** or something bro??? I said Lara n Rigo both got ****ted on by their promoters after great performances. U don't remember when both Schaefer and Arum said that it will be very hard to promote them.

Fighters are scared of Rigo, true boxing purists appreciate his skill. I can't wait until his next fight.

How can Lara be hard to promote, when he has the biggest names @154 of any fighter in his weight class? How can you be hard to promote and have the biggest names in your weight division, that's hypocrisy 101.

Rigo beat the best fighter in the division and the rest of TR fighters in the same division said they don't want anything to do with him. If he wants to be promoted then move up to 126 where TR has willing fighters.

Rigo wants to stay in a weak division where fighters don't want to fight him, any fighter is hard to promote under those circumstances, regardless of where he's born.

Only fights for Rigo are Santa Cruz or Mares @ 126 and I don't think they would be interested.

BTW, I predicted this problem for Rigo.
Broner and Malinaggi bouth are boring but they have more promotion

No, this is a sport although many want to change. and in sports do not win the most fun to watch, if not the best

Rigondeaux grew all that he could, he is small for a 122 fighter, going up for a pay day will not be wise, he is already old for that division, remember that he didn't start his boxing career at 122...

rigo is a tough sell.... ive met him and shot a few portraits of him & coach diaz. rigo is a cool dude, but he is a VERY quiet and reclusive guy. he doesnt exactly demand attention when he walks in a room. part of me feels he will get the winky treatment... which makes me sad.

                    these are the facts:
                    • 32 yrs old... he will most likely retire before he gets the attention he deserves.
                    • reclusive personality (not tv friendly)
                    • miami fans are fickle.... see gamboa
                    • will be avoided, high-risk low-reward type status

since boxing is a business, how would you sell rigo to the public??? 122 is basically a wasteland for rigo... if he can, he should move up to 126. he has mares, donaire, mikey, Ponce, etc.

rigo is a genius in the ring... but star quality is something he needs to work on.

Miami fans are just fine, promoters want to keep the BS "Myth", in reality they don't want their mecxicans/pinoys cash cow get embarrassed by a Cuban fighter, the sad part is that a lot fans had bought that $h1t, 2004 Casamayor/Seda Miami Arena, there were fans that could not get in (all the celebreties were there), last september Doubletree Hilton, Barthelemy, Gonzalez, Socarras and a couple of more Cuban fighters, none of them a household name, the place ran out of seats, the promoter have to PROMOTE, not talk $h1t about his fighter, Lara was in a FOY kind of war and listen to that A$$hole, a guy that has never been in a ring, and he was setup to lose that fight, a phone booth ring, fighting a LHW fighter with a murderous punch, still he make him quit, if Canelo was in Laras shoes that night, he would not had survive...
