I honestly can't see how you for sure give Paulie any rounds other than 1, 2, 4, and 12. Maybe another round between 5-11, maybe. But during all of those rounds, yes Paulie was active, but Broner was stunning Paulie with lead rights often. More often than Canelo did against Trout, where Trout was active but that was about it.
Broner is good but he's totally different from Floyd. He's more flat footed, and even if he has to move, he doesn't have the footwork of Mayweather at 36, let alone a Floyd from 21-30. Broner will lose. I think he has average to decent defense, a lot of Paulie's landed punches seemed to land on shoulders and arms, at least how I saw it. But he doesn't have the defense of a Mayweather. And though his power is pretty good, even at 147 he'll have pop, Paulie has always had a good solid chin, he's not active enough with his jab.
You'll need just a high volume puncher with power he can respect, and you'll beat Broner.
