lol what are you talking about? one of the judges gave it to Malignaggi, it was a split decision.

Again, watch your posts there's no need to get personal. It's a boxing discussion, if you can't handle alternative views it's not for you.

That judge was a fringe fan.

Floyd rematched Castillo because the majority (including me) thought Castillo won the fight.

Broner clearly won more rounds and i'd rather see him fight matthyse maidana or garcia. I have no desire to watch a welterweight with straw-weight power fight.

Pillow hands needs to find a new job.

ok? one judge does not equal a majority. judges are wrong too. we all know this. i dont get what bringing up 1 scorecard out of 3 does for u.

I agree. Paulie is the more intelligent fighter. But what are the adjustments to make? I thought he was largely successful using the tools that he has. But what could improve? His stamina was there and his movement was there. Those things can only decline further. Is it also possible that Broner has learned some things from this fight? I would also expect to see improvements from Broner in his 2nd fight at the weight.

a rematch is would only be in order because it was a dirty fight
hopefully they could keep it clean in a rematch or the ref would work
beyond that, screw a rematch, Broner won close but clear
GB will push for spotlight fights for Broner where he'll look good now
he looked like shit vs Paulie, no way they do that again
Paulie was busy but his punches had nothing on them
with his style, you better not get hit and impress judges with defense
all the punches landed that mattered were from Broner

I didn't have Malignaggi winning, all I'm saying is he makes a fair point. Broner doesn't rematch his close fights.
                  Man you avoided the question.

                  Maybe broner hasn't rematched his close fights-I don't remeber seeing ODH/tito 2, odh/sturm 2, or ODH/quartey 2 or odh/sweet pea 2.

for paulie to compare this fight to floyd/castillo is ridiculous IMO.

Malignaggi was talking about more movement in the post-fight presser, he didn't think he moved as well as he could have done (or used to). I think he could up his level of activity even higher, it dropped off in the middle rounds.

A fair ref would break the fighters properly instead of patting on the shoulders and allowing one fighter to hit on the break and maybe take a point or two off if one of them steps over the mark.

Broner could make improvements too, but one thing I'm not sure he can improve is his inactivity when getting hit. He shells up and doesn't fire back until the other guy stops.

Paulie was comparing with Floyd tho, his mentor/hero/miyagi.

Excellent points. If anything, Broner is likely to improve, not Paulie. Broner was literally walking through Malignaggi's punches. Tough to win fights when your opponent has as much fear of your power as he does the wind in his face.
