i really dont give a flying **** what else happens...i'm not 8yrs old on a hero worship like some of you

most of these guys beat women and are half imbeciles...if they weren't boxing, they would be nobodies

'aww poor floyd...i dont want him to get hurt'

      **** that sentiment
      Good man.

Your point gets right to the crux of the issue. It's one of the root beliefs that widely divergent opinions emanate from.

You want to see a war, or a fight at least, 'cause like you said, for you, they exist as entertainment.

Some of us want to see a masterclass in technique. 'Cause first and foremost, for us, they exist as skilled practitioners of a craft.

        • I respect Floyd for being forthright. Hit but don't get hit, that what a Boxer does, that's who Floyd is.

And it sets up for a great match. Canelo is going to have to take it to him.

            I can't respect that.

If you don't like challenges in life, or in sports, why are you even participating?

If this is what the sport becomes like it has with Manny and Floyd, will anyone even watch it anymore? I have a sickening feeling they would.
Why the "F" are you watching him then?! If he's not your type of fighter then don't pay for his ppv or go to fight parties for his fight! Instead it's clowns like you who b**** & complain, call everybody overrated & won't care about a fighters health when it's all said & done. Bottom line...support the fighters that fight how you like...y'all sound pretty ****** coming up with ideas like boycotting Floyds fights lol JUST DON'T WATCH!!!

            • The worst thing an athlete can do is not adjust with time & age...Jordan didn't keep trying to jump from the free throw line as he got older...Floyd doesn't have the power he once had & he knows that...so why fight like he does? Adjust, keep the fundamentals tight & try not to take punishment...leaving the sport with big checks & more importantly...health, sounds like an awesome plan.

It's not about Floyds defense, it's the fact he never risks even finishing his opponents off. Floyd literally is one of the most boring offensive fighters of our era, he barley throws combinations, pot shots all night and can never push his opponent back for more than 2 seconds.

He has the skills to finish people off but decides to unanimous decision EVERY SINGLE TIME, the guy hasn't had a stoppage in centuries, and don't count Ortiz 'cause that ain't even legit.

Lastly don't give me that **** about sweet science, is the only excuse people use to justify his sleep worthy performances.
