You underestimate Maidanas defense, footwork, and ring IQ. Also, Broner won't fight smart, his ego will force him to trade with Marcos. Maidana stops Broner in 10.

Matthysse is my first choice, but if not him then Maidana.

Broner will land whatever he wants and will see everything that Maidana fires at him. He is faster, more athletic, accurate and has good timing.

Power and chins don't win fights.
You don't know that Maidana won't land, pure guesswork, evidence suggest Maidana will land as Broner isn't Andre Ward/Floyd. Maidana is setting up his shots much better under Garcia using the jab, double jab to set up power shots. Also throwing straighter power punchers as well.

You are overrated Broner's ability to avoid punches IMO but maybe you are right and Broner destroys Maidana. I want to see the fight though.

I'd like to see Broner-Maidana but certainly it wouldn't come as some huge surprise if he beat Marcos. But throw him in with someone like Matthysse, Peterson, even Judah or Khan and I think he'll have huge problems and lose the majority of those fights at this point.

I want Matthysse-Garcia first but Broner wouldn't stand a chance against Lucas either. His little head will either pop off or his ****** mouth will be broken.

People who think Broner will walk through Maidana are in for a big surprise if they ever do the mistake of letting Broner get in the ring with him.

Maidana and Thurman though? I'll take the faster, quicker, more athletic, stronger, more skilled Broner with ease. He will be comfortable, do what he does best and will not need to adjust.
I picked Maidana simply because he's a WW and has no fights lined up, while Matthysse is supposed to be fighting Garcia. I wouldn't pick Maidana to beat Broner, but that doesn't mean that he can't cause some issues. For all the stylistic flaws that are up against Chino, he has proven his power, heart and toughness. I think Maidana would be to Broner what Angulo was for Lara, a chance to prove his physical/mental toughness. Maidana will come at you til you take the fight out of him, and he's smart enough to know when he has to back off and regroup himself (unlike Angulo). If Broner has a hard time with Maidana the same way he did with Paulie, then we'll know for sure he isn't as good as he thinks he is.

Even with the weight difference and age, Ivan Calderon will provide Broner the fight of his life.

I just think some of those left hooks and right hands which Paulie ate up would hurt Khan and for a tall guy Khan fights far too close to his opponents and likes to jump in with combos, Broner would counter him with consistent brutality.
I honestly think you are terribly overrating broners power, paulie himself said he was expecting more and said thats why he was able to stand in front of him more.

Khan will get hit but it will literally look like he has an iron chin against broner.

He simply didnt carry his power, gets troubled by movement.

Ask yourself this question...would paulie have won the fight last night with power? Add khans height into this and you have your answer i believe
