I'm not disagreeing with that. But then there's no reason to say he would KO Haye in 3 rounds if they ever met again, because he hasn't done that to anyone else in the past what, 5-8 years?

It's not for me to say how another man's pain is. Not for you either, but I have certainly had worse injuries than a pinky toe going into fights. I think we can both agree that he should have taken his loss like a man and kept his mouth shut.

Yoz, would you mind pointing out to me where Haye ran in that clip?

Any other Klitschko fans feedback is also welcome.

Wlad too afraid to throw at a fighter with his hands by his side. Haye's head movement and speed made Wlad **** bricks and stay with a pawing weak jab.

The only way Haye could beat Wlad is in a 4 or 6 round fight. Go out swinging early and not worry about stamina. Haye's 10-15 punches a round will never be enough over 12 rounds

          Never

I can't imagine Haye winning on points - only if he drops Wlad 2-3 times like Peter did. But that's not happening, Wlad is a different fighter now.

People who are saying Wlad was too afraid to engage with the fighter who held his hands down know very little about boxing. Haye is an ambush fighter, he always keeps his hands down, he always invites you to come in, he wants that, he likes that. Wlad did the right thing. He outboxed him from the distance. Haye's attempts looked very wild as Wlad was able to dodge pretty much everything Haye thrown. A few times when Haye did connect it wasn't enough to get Wlad in serious trouble - IMO Wlad's chin is not no where near as bad as people are saying.

For Haye Wlad stylistically is a nightmare. Tall, strong, fast, cautious, big puncher, great stamina...

I am not even completely sure that Fury-Haye is a mistmach. If Fury survives first 4-5 rounds Haye might be gassing out and there is a trouble.

You only ever mentioned training. You make it sound like you were a prize fighter.

I think Wlad can still be dropped. To his credit, he recovered well from the Haye shots, but in HW boxing, anyone can be dropped. The difference between Haye and Peter is that Haye has the power to finish anyone, and everytime Haye has put someone down, he's been knocked out either in that round or the round after (except Thompson). He's IMO the best finisher in the HW division right now.

That being said, Wlad is way too catious now to fight like he did back in 2005. Hence, the chances of anyone getting close to him is very slim. Haye tried a few times, and it wasn't enough.

"Afraid" is probably not the word to use, but he didn't want to engage with Haye that was pretty obvious. Haye didn't want to either, but he proved to have a better chin than most expected because he did take some flush shots from the right missile.

Vitali was always the better fit for Haye. More static, slower and worse defense. Probably doesn't hit as hard nowadays as he used to, but can still hurt any fighter on the planet.

I think Wlad was engaging more in the later rounds. Rewatch the rounds 10 and 11. He was pressing Haye..

To do that from the first round would be ****** IMO. Haye is an excellent mover. One would be gassed after 5-6 only by chasing Haye around.

As for Vitali, I am not sure. I think even this version of Vitali (way past it) is better than the version of Valuev that Haye fought.

Vitali can take some massive punches and he can press it. He is just as strong as Wlad and to have him on you for a few rounds would be very difficult for Haye. He would definitely be more on the move than against Wlad. Would he survive that, I don't know...

no he doing it for money, that so disgraceful..

i remembered watching 2011 klitscko doc and there a scene when vitaly confessed that he would fight(best paid in his carreer before his first retirement)
even though he was injured but his trainer advice him not to because it will be not right and people will talk vitaly doing it for the money, in the end he doing the right thing not go to the ring...
