Manny is the only one that comes close and you really going to say that him fighting these guys you would put him up there with Ali? Hatton and Cotto didn't want none at 140. They were ringside and quiet as a church mouse during service. I give it to you Hatton was much better at 140 but did you ever wonder why he never called Floyd out until Floyd was the cash cow? I agree with alot that you said... Im just saying IMO that if floyd had say spadafora, freitas, casamoyer, maybe kosta tsyu instead of gatti, fought margs or manny,, he would be much higher IMO in the ATG rankings... There is just too many missed opportunities in floyds career....
Grant it, he was avoided alot after he wasted genaro hernadez and manfredy, but since the gatti fight he has been a big money fight for anyone yet he hasnt challenged himself...
It would be like if oscar fought chavez and whitaker and established himself as the #1 money guy and then never fighting tito, ike, mosely, vargas, hopkins,, etc

If floyd had fought and beaten margs in 2006 when margs was a monster, then yes that would have easily been floyd biggest win....... Margs may not be an ATG but 2006-2008 he was considered the monster at welter
