Doesn't a unification take precedent over a mandatory? You would think Hopkins will fight Stevenson next. Maybe even drop the title if he has to.

I love the Executioner...even in his most boring fight, I've never uneasy.

That being said, this is the first time I've actually been worried about one of his fights....Crusher is going to HURT this man badly.

Workrate, combos, power, footwork. Dangerous fight for the Executioner.


The Executioner should just give up his belt, at this point in his career...he has earned the right to duck (pick & choose) who he wants to fight. He should consider his legacy.

BHop doesnt get a voluntary defense like certain people?

Not saying BHop cant win but dangerous fight cause Kov is a decent boxer himself. Not just a puncher.

IBF are pretty strict on mandatories by the looks of things.

Mandatory's & #1's ALWAYS have prcedence & hopknks gets no vlntary as he he on the title he was'nt #1 in ibf...let's c the old, dirt, head2st cherry picker evade this or go vs a limited. but strong Stevenson...hopkins would've been crushes by Carlos Monzon, even @ '75 by V. Galendez...won't even bring M Spinks in2 this...

I'd love it, but Hopkins is WAY past the point where I care that much who he fights. It's hard to fault a 50 year old for fighting anyone.
