You can always spot the 17 year old fans... They see fighter KO somebody over the weekend, and right away he becomes the greatest of all time.

Matt's proved a lot to me with that KO of Peterson..Garcia is going to be a problem tho..I would not sleep on this kid,I know we all like to joke but Garcia is the real deal..Capable of beating any 140lb fighter out there..

But, we all know he's not touching Alexander. He's faster, throws more than Danny when he's on his counter punching mode.. Would force Danny to look for him and I can just see Alexander counter punching and smothering him all night.. Only chance is Danny landing that left (which does have power, also the only chance I see him hurting Lucas), but let's be real.. Alexander going to avoid that like the plague. I see Alexander winning via a very boring wide UD. I would bet money on that.

Its not about will it land or not. Alexander has one of the best chins in boxing. Garcia ain't knocking Alexander out.

On paper he can and shouldn't beat Matthyse but that's on paper, Garcia has improved a lot IMO, it's easy to dig out a fight that he had a few years ago and point to all his negatives, the same way people point to Matthyse fights with Judah and Alexander. The thing is both fighters have improve a lot and more experienced than 2 years or 18 months ago. Which makes this fight even more intriguing.

This fight wasn't that long ago and where exactly did he improve? He looked like **** and was hurt in the late rounds vs Morales. Fast forward roughly a year and a half later and he looks like **** and is hurt AGAIN late in a fight .

Just look how bad Morales looks in there but he's still tagging this dude all night long. He's so damn flat footed. His punching technique is horrible and there's nothing swift about him either. In the 10th and 11th you can see how Morales hurts him and he clinches and goes into exchange mode, big no no.

SO? Garcia is solid he gets good leverage on his shots. When u get in his range he lets them fly and he has a decent shell. U can hit him but u got to be in his range to do it so watch out. He should be a tough fight for anyone.

Judah also hurt him late. See a pattern here? This supposed KO artist can't KO fossilized versions of Morales and Judah and they hurt him down the stretch. Took him 2 goddamn fights and a PED-less Morales to finally KO him.

Those guys can box and survive even past prime. To me the more u open up with Danny Garcia the more dangerous he is. I guess we'll see I know I'll keep an eye on him for sure.

This is 50/50 fight for me. I like both fighters. Should be a fantastic fight regardless.

There is no way I can see Devon Alexander beating Danny Garcia. Period.

I just don't get the hype regarding Matthyse. I'll give him the Peterson KO. That was impressive, but Garcia has lightning fast counters and is a much more difficult challenge than the Matthyse cheerleaders are giving him credit for.

Garcia WHOOPED Judah on his home turf. Judah was happy to just have SURVIVED.

Judah on the other hand beat Matthyse. He had one scare when he took the knee. Outside of that he beat Lucas with little problems.

Matthyse likes to trade. He will expose his chin to Garcia's quick counters. Matthyse is not coming out of that fight alive.
