Trust me I was definitely NOT referring to you, there are 3 or 4 posters on here with that attitude which is irritating, it's almost as ridiculous as the "Nobody wants to fight GGG" who only came to prominence to some of these idiots in September 2012..

I want to see big fights and I can't wait for Matthyse to get his chance because not only his he exciting but he has work harder for his opportunity but I can't get fans lack of patience these days, if this was a Bob Arum fighter I wouldn't even put my hopes up but the way GBP are making fights at the moment makes me more relax than anything else, they cannot duck the Matthyse fight unless Danny Garcia himself fakes an injury.

That would be disappointing, really. That would pretty much be the opposite of what GBP has been doing with Showtime. We've been getting pretty much the best fights they can make, and them feeding Garcia to Mayweather and charging us $60-$70 for it would kill some of that momentum to me. Garcia/Matthysse>>>Garcia/Mayweather. Is that something people want to see? I'm genuinely curious.

They can't, unless they make Garcia fake any injury which means he has to be out of action till May 2014. That would not happen, Garcia has to fight Lucas before he gets Mayweather because beating a war torn Morales X2, a Judah who everybody on C+ level can beat and a chinny Khan does not give you a Mayweather fight.

              Cool, thanks for the clarification.

Yeah, that **** definitely gets annoying, but I think a lot of the impatience comes from the boxing fan's distrust of the promotional companies for killing several high profile fights the past few years. GBP is on the right track for sure, but I think they have a ways to go before everyone just takes their word as the truth as soon they say they are interested in/are making the fights we want to see.

Hopefully we can get something like this
                Sep 2013: Mathysse vs Garcia
Early 2014: Mathysse vs Maidana (147) in Argentina
summer to fall 2014: Mathysse vs Broner (147)

                all fights worth watching!

I'm picking Matthysse to beat Garcia, but if he doesn't I'd be down for exactly what you just listed except Garcia vs Broner. Damn, pretty much anyway you match these guys up it's going to be a quality fight.

Edit: ehh, not sure about Maidana/Broner. I'd watch it, I guess I'm just not 100% sure what Broner brings to the table yet. His next couple of fights should tell us where he stands.

Im picking Mathysse too in prolly a fight of the year. Who knows....if the fight turns out great we might just get Garcia-Mathysse II for early 2014 instead and have winner of Broner-Malignaggi face another candidate in V.Ortiz.

Why would you believe that, when they've been talking about matching these guys up, for the past few years? The winner of Lucas-Lamont was on a collision course to fight the winner of Judah-Danny. They have been talking about this for I dont know how long. Danny and Lucas are both small names and GBP had no intentions on protecting them like Khan and Canelo who were both on path to become big names. Richard already said that it was a 10 percent chance that Danny would fight Floyd, and 90 percent chance that he would fight Lucas, because he felt that Danny and Lucas was an exciting fight that he wanted to see happen, and that he felt needed to happen. Floyd as of right now, is fighting Canelo. He's not worried about anyone past that.
