this thread is an odd read
@ Dunn; why are you so gung ho arguing Angulo didn't quit?
you've got a right to your opinion, but this seems cut and dry
honestly can't tell if you're trolling or serious here

Because two fighters can get the SAME EXACT injury, one can fight through the pain and the other cannot.

The guy who couldnt deal with the pain, isn't quitting?

      In what world?

      Yeah, Im done.

      Your view is warped.
as is your position that only extreme injuries determine whether an athlete quits or not.

you said yourself a broken arm makes it impossible to fight so its not quitting. so as soon as one fighter fights with a broken arm all those after that dont fight are quitters?

      yeah that makes sense.

the only difference is which injuries we use for the threshhold of "not being able to compete".

yeah its best to go niether of us are going to change our position and personal insults are probably on the horizon.

...and listen motherfucker. Don't give me no Abraham shit here, we [I & Bringer] are both suffering from some form of neurological injury but my heart is pulling me through.

I'm sure me, Bringer & Reed all share the same opinion that it was injury that caused Angulo to abandon his pursuit. However, I do get a small sense of frustration from him when he retired.

Don't fuck with the English language, son.

            funny stuff.

that said I can only tell you my position. if a boxers ability to fight is compromised by an injury-I dont see it as quitting.

question-If angulo stopped fighting because of a low blow, ref gives him 5 minutes, he says I can't go on, is that quitting?

I had to quit, because my ability to think in a logical and rational manner was at risk. My brain was taking too much abuse from the ******ation taking place in this thread. When faced with the real possibility of turning into a ****** myself, I did what was best for me and my family.

Nobody has a right to fault me for this one, or say that I quit. Because I didn't.
