Instead of using that word, we now say that "the participant of this pugilistic contest willfully withdrew himself from competition due to an injury sustained during the bout which may or may not have had the potential to jeopardize his future earnings and functionality as a fighter and human being."Comment

To quit is to abandon, leave, stop, not continue. That's the actual definition of the word, no where does it say 'To quit is to be a coward or a bitch'.
It's irrefutable that Angulo quit, you cannot say otherwise. You could debate whether he doesn't have the heart for it or because of injury. But you cannot say he didn't quit.Comment
