Wow Boxing fans these days smh can't appreciate the nuts and guts both fighters demonstrated. All you get is this guy is overrated and this guy is a quitter. I am a fan of Lara and was rooting for him to win, he got dropped but came back show heart. Angulo is a warrior and I will always be a fan of el perro. Can't blame the guy for turning his back after breaking his orbital bone.

    WAR LARA!!!

It's just funny; there's this one poster BossHogg or something that's 100% pro Mexico has in his avi something along the lines of "It's better to die on your feet then live on your knees!"

I guess Angulo preferred to live on his knees then die.

Bet you this dude bigsmooth never stepped into a ring.

Getting KDed, surviving and outboxing then stopping your opponent = Lucky.

Oh and the punch that stopped it wasn't even a no look like Garcia's. It was a straight shot to the face.

Angulo either has really bad luck or was just never the top prospect people hoped for. He lost to Kermit the frog Cintron, FFS!!

Yeah, and it's clear who those people are.

I can't understand how anyone who calls themself a boxing fan can hate on this performance. Both these men fought their hearts out. It's demeaning to both to knock Lara's win. Fucking gotta be kidding me. Erislandy Lara is a bad motherfucker!

If Canelo used the type of pressure El perro did without blocking punches with his face.... He would be a damn great fighter. This is how Canelo should try to fight mayweather, jus muscle him. Mayweather doesn't hit as hard as Lara, plus he'll be outweighing him by 20lbs so he wont even feel it like that.

I've been a critic of his in the past, and I continue to think he's not as awesome as some say, but Landy showed amazing will and resourcefulness tonight. You can't teach the balls Lara had on display. That is the heart of a champion, my friend. It can never be underestimated.

Not only does he need to learn how to clinch but he needs to learn how to do work when in the clinch. He clinched a couple of times but never let his hand(s) go. One thing that I did notice tho, vs Hernandez he never leaned into the body shots, tonight he did... For the most part at least.

For Angulo to have said no mas, you know the dude was hurt.
Lara put on a great performance tonight. Props to him. Not only that but the fact he was dropped twice takes away his invincibility and makes him a little more desirable to fight.

I have been very critical of him, but tonight he showed up to fight. I hope he gets a chance at some of the big names out there now.
