And his 154 belt was vacant and he fought margarito at 150 and neither guy had ever had a significant win at 154, hell manny had never fought there,,,,

So to be honest he is like a 6 division champ- with two garbage paper championships as well
A title is a title no matter how you see it. You think it so easy to get it with just a flick of a finger and not realizing as you (106 fighter) climb up your opponents are also getting bigger to the point even a bum at 135 will send you back down to the pit. Now how many former 106 pro fighter do you think from past to present are/were able to get a PAPER title at 135? let alone a PAPER titles from 140, 147, 154.

The fact that Pac easily handled the much bigger guys like Oscar, Hatton and Cotto at much higher weight than 135 while maintaining the same weight fight night when he fought Diaz showed us logically any current legit champs at 135 by the time will not stand a chance. Pacquiao would be too fast and too strong for them not unless of course you are using the current past prime Pac as your argument.

Logically the only person who will able to copy Pac 8 division titles right now is Floyd. To do that (he can cherry pick if he wants the paper/weakest champ there) he needs to fight the champion at middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight. Hmnnn, that is so easy for GREAT Floyd. No problem he can do it but then he needs to fight Canelo at catchweight 152. So easy dude.

Did you ever box before and won your first cherry picked 20 fights just to get a title shot at cherry picked champ then cherry picked all the way to your 8 division titles? Sound so easy dude.

in theory he could rematch Marquez at 155 for the vacant WBA super belt and Mosley at 161 limit for the vacant WBC platinum champion super middleweight belt and so on...

now days the ABC belts is all about the dollar you shouldn't use it as measure of greatness if a corrupt organization decided to sanction the fight

i agree. But in the same...taking out 8 champions in 8 divisions is very impressive. Especially moving up in weight! With that and his measure of exciting fights. KOs KDs and 12 round beat downs on guys who were bigger and stronger. Id say...like all the greats who did great things in the ring , hes one of the best as well. Why not!
