I'm just curious to see how Yuri performs at the weight. How will his stamina be? How will his speed, power and punch resistance be affected? It's gonna be interesting....
From what i saw with Farenas even at 130 his stamina got a bite taken out of it maybe it was the ring rust but he didnt seem to be the same to me.

Jaunma getting beat up by Salcido threw a monkey wrench in everything. As much as I despise Top Rank you cant be mad at Arum for trying to make the Lopez/Gamboa fight bigger. Its unfortunate that Lopez got stopped twice. But moving forward it looks like Gamboa made the wrong decision leaving Top Rank. If he signs the extension he would of had a weight drained Brandon Rios and most likely Terrance Crawford. That's better than any of the fights 50 can get him.

I looked at the ninth round knockdown again a couple of days ago. Gamboa definitely looked gassed when he dropped. I think the KD was more a result of Yuri being tired than the power of the blow. Let's hope he's better conditioned this time out.

Yeah he was trying to get Farenas out desperately and prematurely looked to me maybe it was because he was gassing a bit i believe, which i had never seen him do before maybe if he was dirty the **** they where giving him at Biogenesis was for endurance like Armstrong and from now on his gonna gas and suck hehe....he.....he .

Gamboa and Broner would have been great back at 135 but Yuri is going to need to just start fighting period if he wants anybody to care. He didn't look that awesome in his last fight and he was upstaged by his own promoter pulling a "Sting coming down from the rafters" move. So over the top, so clueless, boxing is not pro wrestling no matter what 50 cent thinks. Curtis is going to shrivel up without his Mayweather association.

                    Obviously promotional companies do this.

Sucks for Gamboa bc a battle between him and JuanMa would of been decent money but Arum let it marinate too long.

Sucks for the fighters but not so much the promoters bc promoters have a lot investments
